Established in 1996 by a group of practitioners expert in
EU affairs and active in Brussels since 1991, IDP assists a variety of clients ranging from large multinational corporations to small businesses in monitoring EU opportunities and accessing
EU funding programmes managed centrally by EU institutions and agencies, such as the Framework Programme, Lifelong Learning Programme, Life+, Culture, Daphne, etc. The company provides tailored consulting services also to Universities and Research Centers on access to
EU funds and grants.
Since 1999
IDP developed a core competence in the provision of high quality training on project financing, project management and EU funding mechanisms.
IDP provides training to professionals and executives from both the public and private sectors. In addition,
IDP provides specialised training and consulting services to the Third Sector at large, i.e. Not for Profit and Non Governmental Organsations. The combined training services of IDP amount to the delivery of an average of 1.200 hours of training per year to an average of 500+ trainees.
In addition,
IDP provides a five-day
Master Class held in Brussels three times a year on how to leverage EU funding opportunities through
EU Programmes. The
Master Class is a practical training that builds on IDPs direct experience in the preparation of solid proposals for
EU funding.

IDP leverages its direct experience and knowledge of the Third Sector and volunteering. IDP provides training to volunteering and not-for-profit organisations and has a thorough understanding of the capacity building dimension of the Third Sector at large.
